Cointelegraph is proud to announce the launch of our new regional website in Poland to boost cryptocurrency awareness in the country and foster the local cryptocurrency community.

Taking root in Poland

With Bitcoin awareness permeating the consciousness of the globe, the Cointelegraph Media Group is fast-tracking the process by launching regional publications in a number of key countries to educate the public about the benefits of cryptocurrency. This week marks the launch of our new affiliate site in Poland: Cointelegraph.pl.

Cointelegraph.pl team consists of self-proclaimed  ”dedicated Bitcoiners” including: Ivan Vucinic, Damian Cišek, Damian Raszyk, Zbigniew Bosak and Marcin Wrona.

“Our main goal is to become a well-known source of information on all crypto-related topics in Poland,” said PR Manager, Damian Raszyk, to Cointelegraph. “Global and local developments in the Polish crypto industry will be our main focus, with all articles written in the Polish language. We will cover current incidents in the traditional banking system that might impact the crypto community.”

Looking to the future

Poland is frequently seen alongside Bitcoin in the headlines. For example, T-Mobile Poland, which currently serves nearly 15.7 million customers, began accepting bitcoin for mobile credit top-ups and giving 20% additional calling time for customers paying with BTC in March. Bitcoin ATMs have also found their homes in the country, where cryptocurrency seems to be taking root.

“The community in Poland is gaining momentum,” explained Raszyk. “Everywhere across the Polish internet you can find many sites, forums, services that have emerged recently with friendly enthusiasts willing to introduce newcomers to blockchain technology.”

He added:

“More and more businesses in Poland are starting to accept cryptocurrency. As of late, you can even find some Bitcoin ATMs in some popular malls.”

Cointelegraph.pl will promote and lobby for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in the East European country. One such initiative will be to take active part at the WallStreet Conference in Karpacz, with attendees expected from all over the country discussing the possibilities of a forex/binary market, the future of finance and more.

Cointelegraph Poland will provide its audience with the latest news, analytics, expert interviews, and commentary, as well as all the essential information to not only understand cryptocurrencies and their underlying technology, but to also prepare for the disruption ahead.

See you on Cointelegraph.pl!
