The development of this infrastructure is supported by a grant from the Hedera Foundation, recognizing BlockBolt’s mission to drive real-world adoption of blockchain-powered payments using Hedera’s enterprise-grade public ledger.

BlockBolt enables merchants to accept HBAR, USDC, and other Hedera tokens via payment links, wallet connections, and QR code checkout. Every transaction is blockchain-verified, tamper-proof, and confirmed within seconds using Hedera’s high throughput and low fees.

BlockBolt SoundBox: Real-time in-store crypto payments

As part of this launch, BlockBolt introduces the BlockBolt SoundBox, a compact, plug-and-play IoT device built for physical retail environments. When a customer completes a payment by scanning a BlockBolt QR code, the SoundBox instantly announces the received amount through audio confirmation.
