Yat Siu is the chairman and co-founder of Animoca Brands, which has made hundreds of Web3 investments and leverages blockchain to deliver digital property rights to consumers around the world. Notable projects include Moca Network, The Sandbox, and Open Campus.
Yat’s vision is for users to own their digital identities. To facilitate this, Moca Network is building a chain-agnostic digital identity infrastructure, allowing users to maintain one account for assets, identity and reputation across multiple ecosystems.
He is a supporter of various NGOs, a member of BAFTA, and a director of the Asian Youth Orchestra. Yat was also appointed to the Task Force on Promoting Web3 Development by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
