Jan. 29, 2022, Denver, CO — ETHDenver, the world’s largest annual community-driven Web3 innovation festival, is returning in February 2022 with Colorado Governor Jared Polis, South African entrepreneur and Colorado resident Kimbal Musk, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin and more coming together to accelerate blockchain adoption and Colorado’s mission to become the first digital state in the United States.

“We see 2022 as the year of mass adoption for Web3. In 2021, we finally cracked the code — from NFTs to DAOs to digital identities, the movement we’ve been working towards is accelerating. The purpose of ETHDenver is to bring together builders, creatives and change-makers to continue driving the adoption of this new world. We are working closely with the state of Colorado and the global blockchain community to actualize this goal,” said John Paller, founder of ETHDenver.

Taking place from Feb. 11 to 20, the event will bring together around 8,000 people onsite and over 30,000 virtual attendees, along with the brightest minds in blockchain innovation.

The free festival will include a vast range of educational opportunities as well as community-building and social events. These include hundreds of talks, expert panels, technical workshops, immersive experiences, art galleries, live music, hackerspaces, networking events, complimentary childcare and more.

Friday, Feb. 18 will feature the Colorado: Digital State event, with keynotes from Governor Jared Polis, announcements from Kimbal Musk, and a live AMA with Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin.

Impact lawyer and attorney of the Colorado Supreme Court Yev Muchnik will deliver her updates on legislative efforts aimed at paving the way for Colorado to become the first digital state of the United States, and for DAOs to become legitimized entities.

Additional speakers will include Joseph Lubin, co-founder of Ethereum and founder of ConsenSysKevin Owocki, founder of Gitcoin — a platform incentivizing open-source software — Elena Sinelnikova, founder of CryptoChicks and CEO of layer-2 scaling solution MetisDAO, and many more.

The festival’s top sponsors include HarmonyAlgorandNear Protocol, and other layer-1 blockchain solutions, solidifying ETHDenver as a unifier of the entire blockchain ecosystem.

Evolving beyond just being a once-a-year event, ETHDenver will function as an incubator and launchpad to create year-round support for early-stage blockchain projects by tethering them back to state infrastructure.
