Singapore, November 12, 2025 - In a major leap for decentralized artificial intelligence, Reinforced AI, built on Bittensor and powered by Unique Network, has introduced a large-scale, on-chain proof-of-compute system using NFTs. Since May, the system has minted more than 3 million NFTs, each serving as a verifiable, tamper-proof record of completed AI tasks, redefining how trust and transparency are established in decentralized machine learning.

Decentralized AI networks like Bittensor distribute compute tasks among hundreds of miners. Ensuring that every miner performs their assigned tasks honestly, without shortcuts or falsification, has long been a technical challenge. Traditional coordination methods rely on off-chain logs, manual trust, or centralized APIs, all of which introduce vulnerabilities such as mutable result logs that can’t be independently verified, validator-miner dependencies that create potential trust failures, and a lack of persistent audit trails for fraud detection or miner reputation. These weaknesses threaten both scalability and integrity in open, distributed AI ecosystems.
Reinforced AI resolves these issues through an entirely new zero-trust coordination framework. Every completed compute task is minted as a signed, immutable NFT on Unique Network, transforming each token into a “proof object” containing encrypted task metadata and results, digital signatures from miners’ cryptographic keys, ownership bindings to miner hotkeys, and structured, on-chain metadata. This ensures 100% on-chain verifiability with no off-chain dependencies, allowing validators to confirm task authenticity and completion directly through blockchain verification.
NFTs are particularly well-suited for representing AI compute receipts because they combine structured metadata, immutability, ownership binding, and digital signatures within a single object.
