I’m very confident that we’ll be sitting here a year or two from now and talking about this volatility, but also being amazed at the upward trajectory of Bitcoin over the next 24 months.

Biography:

Anthony Scaramucci is a political consultant and American entrepreneur best known for serving as the White House director of communications from July 21 to July 31, 2017. He was born into a lower-middle-class Italian-American family, growing up in Port Washington, New York. He started working at the age of 11. After graduating from high school, he enrolled in Tufts University and received a bachelor’s degree in economics. He then enrolled in Harvard Law School, where he received his Juris Doctor.

After graduating, he started working as an investment banker with Goldman Sachs. He started his own finance company, Oscar Capital Management, after leaving Goldman Sachs in 1996. Later, he established SkyBridge Capital, a global investment firm based in New York.

In 2017, he was appointed to United States President Donald Trump’s White House as an assistant to the president and director of the White House Office of Public Liaison and Intergovernmental Affairs. He was eventually named director of communications for the White House but was fired after only ten days. Scaramucci is one of several well-known cryptocurrency supporters who believes Bitcoin will outperform gold.

Scaramucci’s 2021:

According to Scaramucci, cryptocurrencies are a directional gamble for SkyBridge in the context of a diversified portfolio. Investors are required to accept what is “workable” and be patient, which includes trading, using derivatives, investing in crypto stocks, and shorting things they believe are possible hedges. Hybrid funds may be more than suitable for risk-averse investors in these turbulent, COVID-ridden times.

Scaramucci, on the other hand, publicly declared that “the 60-40 portfolio is over.” This is because current yields make it difficult for investors to trade in the bond market while expecting high returns over the next decade. In June 2021, Scaramucci stated that he expects Bitcoin would eventually eclipse gold, both in terms of overall market size and the significance of bullion as an inflation hedge.

Furthermore, Scaramucci added, SkyBridge’s Bitcoin fund is “going towards $100 million” in assets under management, and Bitcoin has “a very bright future.” In June 2021, SkyBridge had approximately $500 million in Bitcoin in its portfolio.

Scaramucci’s 2022:

Scaramucci has a longer-term approach and recommends investors buy into the so-called “digital gold.” He predicted that Bitcoin might “easily trade” at $100,000 by 2022. He argues that the Bitcoin price is still in its infancy and further added, “You don’t even have enough Bitcoins for every millionaire in our society to own one coin.”

Furthermore, he predicts that Algrorand will surpass Ethereum in 2022, since its rapid transaction speeds and low carbon footprint makes it not just a potential challenger to Ethereum, but also a contender for the top blockchain in the digital assets market.

In order to leverage the power of blockchain to alter organizations, the network will be tasked with deploying technology and network ecosystem infrastructure in 2022. If Algorand’s community grows, Scaramucci believes its potential will be equivalent to that of Google when it first launched in 1998. For altcoins, in particular, he mentioned that “Cardano, or things like Ethereum, will continue to rise because there are actually great use cases for them.”
