Children of Heroes helps the countless Ukrainian children who have suffered the ultimate tragedy: the loss of one or both parents during the Russian invasion. Your donation will provide these children and their families with comprehensive assistance through to adulthood in all aspects of life.
The Children of Heroes of Ukraine Foundation (“Foundation”) is a Section 501(c)(3) public charity. Contributions to the Foundation are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law. Subject to other applicable limitations, the amount of your contribution that is deductible for federal income tax purposes is limited to the excess of any money (and the value of any property other than money) you contributed over the value of goods or services provided by the Foundation. The Children of Heroes Charity Fund has provided children and their families with $4.8 million USD of total aid as of August 1st, 2023.
Your donations will go toward:
Emergency aid
Provides immediate financial and humanitarian aid as well as psychological support, and when required, temporary shelter.
Essential support
Ensures all basic needs of the children are met, such as food and warm clothing, along with legal support and counseling for families.
Education and development
Ensures all the children are set up for a bright future by organizing schooling, language courses, sports and various other activities that are catered to the needs and goals of each child.
Healthcare
Covers the medical expenses of all the children until they reach adulthood.
Socialization
Funds camps, recreational activities and their organization, giving the children opportunities to interact with other kids and take part in leadership activities.
Mentorship and career planning
As the fund covers a wide spectrum of age groups, it provides assistance and guidance in finding placements and job opportunities.
