The decentralized entertainment gateway and app ecosystem SingularDTV has announced it has hired noted Hollywood producer Michael Blieden as an advisor.

The firm, which is working on multiple projects and utilizes Ethereum technology, is due to launch its flagship product in Q2 this year. Blieden will be a major contributor to the event and will receive his salary in Ethereum tokens.

"We're thrilled to have Blieden on board,” SingularDTV CEO Zach LeBeau said in a press release Monday.

“His experience and energy is extremely valuable and we look forward to great things to come. He's also a big supporter of Ethereum and even requested to be paid in Ether."

Blieden has an established portfolio in the US, working on shows such as Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.

SingularDTV meanwhile has already created a host of different services built on the Blockchain. The company seeks to revolutionize the entire entertainment industry, covering areas from production to rights management and even has its own token and wallet.

Notably, last year it launched CODE, an organizational structure for tokenized ecosystems on Ethereum.

“The next great technological boom could be the rush to decentralize real-world assets,” LeBeau told Cointelegraph at the time.

“The CODE structure is a bridge that allows this migration to happen. SingularDTV is placing all of our intellectual property onto the Ethereum Blockchain."
