Singapore, April 12, 2022 — Leading global derivatives exchange Bitget has announced its sponsorship for PGL Regional Major Rankings (RMR), Major Antwerp 2022 and Dota 2 Major Arlington 2022. Following Bitget’s partnership with PGL Major Stockholm 2021 as its official partner back in October and November 2021, this is the second partnership for Bitget with the global tournament organizer.
Founded in 2002, PGL is an innovative and independent tournament organizer. Since its launch, PGL has been running offline events and producing esports-related content for a national and international audience.
As the exclusive cryptocurrency partner of both of PGL’s flagship events, Bitget will be leveraging these partnerships to maximize the reach of its Corporate brand and further narrow the gap between crypto and other industries to establish cryptocurrency as a source of investment for all, allowing more users to understand the complex crypto ecosystem.
Sandra Lou, CEO of Bitget, said, “We are pleased to partner with PGL on its Counter-Strike: Global Offensive RMR and Major, following our sponsorship for PGL Major Stockholm 2021 back in October 2021. We are always eager to partner with like-minded partners to strengthen our foothold and position in the rapidly evolving crypto space. After our successful partnership late last year, we are confident we will be able to reach new heights with PGL as we continue to achieve dual synergies.”
Silviu Stroie, CEO of PGL, said, “When establishing partnerships, trustworthiness continues to be one of the biggest priorities for us. We are pleased to be able to once again receive support from Bitget for our upcoming events. We hope that these partnerships will promote the growth of both industries and, with a partner like Bitget, reach even higher goals in the years to come. We believe that there are strong synergies between both esports and crypto, and we are elated to be charging this path with a partner such as Bitget.”
The partnership with the PGL RMR and Major follows Bitget’s engagement with Juventus, an Italian football giant with more than 120 years of history, as well as Team Spirit. which was the second-ever Eastern European team to become The International champions since Natus Vincere in 2011 while securing the biggest prize pool in esports history of $18 million.
