Rotkreuz, Switzerland — The Crypto Valley Association, a leading global blockchain and cryptographic technology ecosystem, has announced that its Crypto Valley Conference is returning this summer. The flagship event will take place on June 2 and 3, 2022 in Rotkreuz, Switzerland.
In partnership with Innosuisse and sponsored by IEEE, the two-day immersive conference will host more than 700 attendees from the start-up and business world. Now in its fifth year, the Crypto Valley Conference is synonymous with the Swiss blockchain ecosystem and will once again bring together the most influential leaders in the global blockchain and crypto industry.
With over 40 speakers lined up, the event will cover a broad range of topics across technology, economics, finance and regulation. Keynote speakers include Frederick Gregaard from the Cardano Foundation, March Richardson from Bancor and Marieke Flament, CEO of NEAR. They will be joined by speakers from Coinbase, FTX, Bitmex, Bitcoin Suisse, Genesis, Bullish, Polkadot, Zenotta, Blockdaemon, Youhodler, Fireblocks, Sygnum and Partisia Blockchain, among others. Reflecting the current state of the industry, some of the topics that will be discussed this year include regulation, sustainability and mining, GameFi, the Metaverse, NFTs, DeFi, and DAOs and privacy, among others.
Organized in conjunction with Lucerne University, the conference will feature a strong academic focus, including a day of bespoke, subject-oriented masterclasses led by some of the industry’s most prominent companies such as Messari, the Cardano Foundation, Bitcoin Suisse and Zenotta, among others. Attendees will enjoy an in-depth look at topics such as digital currency and regulation, and leave with tangible takeaways that they can then apply to their respective projects.
Making new connections and strengthening existing ones has always been a key part of CVC, and networking will be front and center throughout this year’s two-day event. There will be no shortage of opportunities to mix and mingle, culminating in the return of the popular sunset networking boat cruise for the finale of the event.
Commenting on the event, Emi Lorincz, president of the Crypto Valley Association, said: “Now in its fifth year, the Crypto Valley Conference is a yearly tradition of the CVA. We are a global association and so is our conference. This year’s event is a composition of old and new. We’re thrilled to have long-standing traditions like the sunset networking boat cruise back again, while also offering new and innovative elements to this year’s lineup for attendees to enjoy. We’re looking forward to welcoming back long-standing CVA members as well as new members of our association. We have a few surprises in store both days and can’t wait to see many of you in Switzerland in June!”
