Satoshi Nakamoto strikes an unprecedented move to enter Bitcoin into the metaverse, with a HQ in Bloktopia to support Bitcoin’s new Web3 strategy.
Bloktopia has announced that Cryptocurrency Bitcoin will be opening a virtual HQ inside its metaverse.
In an announcement on Friday 1st April 2022, Bloktopia said that after months of negotiation, Bitcoin will be opening up a virtual office in its metaverse. The virtual building has 21 different levels in recognition of the total supply of 21 million Bitcoin (BTC) and will house other tier 1 crypto brands, including Polygon, Avalanche, Binance NFT, Solana, CoinMarketCap and of course CoinTelegraph.
According to a spokesperson at Bloktopia, the HQ will allow users to learn everything that there is to know about Bitcoin. Users will be able to engage in real-time trading of Bitcoin through exchange interfaces, along with the most up to date news and announcements about the original Cryptocurrency.
The same spokesperson went on to say: “Meeting a person with such a reputation, to the point of a legendary, almost mythical status can be a very daunting and surreal experience. Satoshi’s ambition is infectious and we’re delighted to form this strategic relationship.
They continued: “Bitcoin is THE original cryptocurrency and our vision is for Bloktopia to be THE metaverse. It made sense for the Home of Crypto to be a home for Bitcoin.”
With the majority of all major cryptocurrency brands now confirmed as tenants within Bloktopia, this move is sure to attract other crypto and NFT projects and major global brands that are continuing to explore the metaverse space and evolve their Web3 strategies.
