Karmaverse, a leading GameFi platform, has raised over $6 million in a private round led by A&T Capital to bring GameFi to the biggest game economics. The private round included participation from key blockchain-gaming and Web3 leaders, such as Foresight Ventures, Polygon Studios, Cao Zhen (Partner of Republic), OKX Blockdream Ventures, NFX, Mindfulness Capital, GSR Ventures, HashKey Capital, Fundamental Labs, Y2Z, L2Y, Altonomy and others. In February, Karmaverse closed a $2-million seed round led by Yield Guild Games South East Asia, IVC and TPS Capital.

Known for its gameplay and integrated GameFi ecosystem, Karmaverse is a gaming multiverse. It’s an up-to-date AAA mobile game that also leverages blockchain technology to combine play-to-earn and play-for-fun elements. Founded by an experienced and well-rounded team, Karmaverse was created by designers behind two global top 10 simulated life games (SLG), King of Avalon and Guns of Glory, which generated $2 billion of revenue and have 5 million monthly active users.

“Karmaverse Zombie” will be the first game in Karmaverse. It is a blockchain-based nonfungible token (NFT) social game that focuses on the struggle for survival and domination in a post-apocalyptic world infested with zombies and mutants. After the spread of a virus intended to eradicate humanity, zombies and mutants have spread across the Earth. Surviving humans have trained themselves to become fighters, banding together for survival in shelters and working to gradually eliminate the zombie threat.

In order to dynamically maintain the game’s ecosystem, Karmaverse has designed a dual-token system with a governance token, KNOT, and sub-tokens. 

“Karmaverse Zombie” started a closed beta test on Feb. 10, 2022. Karmaverse will start its first NFT sales on Feb. 28, with a limited edition of 1,000 units. Each Genesis Starter Kit contains five mystery boxes, including three for unlocking a Fighter NFT, and the other two with the chance of getting a Fighter NFT or a Material NFT. NFTs from the Genesis Starter Kit will apply in Karmaverse Zombie.
