Singapore, March 15, 2022 — The KuCoin Community Chain (KCC) Unicorn Contest will begin on March 15, 2022.
The KCC Unicorn Contest is the first item of KCC’s $50-million ecosystem incentive plan, aiming to conduct comprehensive project exploration for the KCC ecosystem. The contest covers multiple areas, including decentralized finance, infrastructure, nonfungible tokens, GameFi, SocialFi, the metaverse, Web3 and more.
To promote prosperity for the on-chain ecosystem, the KCC Unicorn Contest also provides generous ecosystem incentives for high-quality projects. The top-ranked project will be rewarded with up to $300,000 and support in marketing resources and incubation investment.
Sam Yao, head of community operations at KCC, said, “As a fundamental infrastructure in the crypto space, public chains are crucial for the industry. At the moment, when thousands of chains are in full swing, KCC hopes to provide support and certain opportunities for promising projects. The KCC Unicorn Contest was born for this. We look forward to seeing unicorns booming on KCC.”
Yao, along with Johnny Lyu, CEO of KuCoin and adviser of KCC GoDAO, will hold an interview in the KuCoin Telegram groups to introduce the KCC Unicorn Contest to the public and answer questions from the community. Project builders and industry insiders interested in KCC are welcome to participate.
According to KCC, more than 40 projects have submitted their applications for the contest since the start of the early-bird registration. Other projects are invited to join.
The KCC Unicorn Contest is now officially open for project submissions.
