Tel Aviv, Dec. 17, 2021 — Kirobo, a company developing a safety net for decentralized finance (DeFi), has announced the listing of its native token, KIRO, on the Bitrue centralized exchange.
Bitrue is the first centralized exchange (CEX) to list KIRO, and it’s a big step for the Tel Aviv-based technology company. KIRO is the utility token of the Kirobo ecosystem and is used to power the DeFi services on its platform. KIRO already trades on decentralized exchanges, such as Uniswap, SushiSwap, PancakeSwap and Quickswap, and the addition of the token to Bitrue is the first in a long list of planned CEX listings over the course of the next two months.
“It’s a great pleasure to see our roadmap progressing as it is. We’ve just launched our Liquid Vault, an unprecedented solution in the cryptocurrency industry, and listing on an established exchange like Bitrue is yet another vote of confidence in our technology,” said Asaf Naim, CEO of Kirobo. “Our roadmap includes many more such integrations, and as the user base of our DeFi products grows in size, more and more people will start to understand the true value of our token.”
Kirobo has had an eventful 12 months, adding figures such as Brock Pierce and Scott Stornetta to its advisory board and releasing a number of innovative products, including “Safe Transfer,” an unprecedented tool that enables users to undo and retrieve cryptocurrency transfers made in error.
In December, Kirobo was trackside at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix for the launch of its Liquid Vault, a decentralized on-chain wallet that enables users to back up their finances in case of lost private keys. Future products will include an inheritance feature, which will allow users to set heirs, avoiding the issue of assets lost due to unexpected death. The Liquid Vault and its services are the principal use of the KIRO token.
“Bitrue works to provide a comprehensive cryptocurrency experience from a single platform, making financial services available to people who could never have dreamed of making investments before. As such, we were very excited to hear about the work Kirobo is doing, and we know that KIRO is a perfect addition to our listings,” said Adam O’Neill, chief marketing officer of Bitrue.
Bitrue is a diversified cryptocurrency exchange with support for trading, loans, and investments. Bitrue aims to utilize blockchain technology to bring financial opportunities to everybody regardless of their location or financial position. They have offices worldwide and continue to develop new features at a rapid speed to fully service the new wave of the digital economy.
Kirobo’s mission is to make cryptocurrency an everyday tool that everyone can use with confidence. We achieve this with user-friendly products that remove the risk of human error and fraud from cryptocurrency transactions, making crypto management as safe as possible. Kirobo is the proud recipient of two grants from the Israeli Innovation Authority — the only blockchain technology company to achieve this.
