South Korea, May 2, 2022 — Neowiz, a first-generation multi-platform development and online publishing game giant based in South Korea, has announced its first play-to-earn (P2E) title Crypto Golf Impact from its GameFi lineup.
Neowiz has partnered with its sister company Neoply to bring the world’s first mobile, P2E golf application powered by the Neopin blockchain platform to the blockchain-gaming market.
Neowiz sets the standard for the mainstream GameFi space, starting with Crypto Golf Impact.
Crypto Golf Impact is a revamp of an existing title: Golf Impact, which has been seamlessly integrated with Neopin blockchain technology to offer both traditional and blockchain gaming features. In recent weeks, Crypto Golf Impact has gone viral due to its recent $150,000 airdrop campaign. To celebrate, the CGI team has airdropped $10 of its in-game currency Crystals to users pre-registered for the launch.
The back-to-back airdrop campaign has caught the eyes of the global blockchain gaming community and has been gaining traction for being the world’s first mobile P2E golf title available on the App Store and Google Play. On PlayToEarn.net, the project achieved a number-one ranking in the sports genre and a number-11 global ranking.
Revolutionizing mobile golf applications
The game offers various playable content — most notably its player-versus-player feature. However, what makes Crypto Golf Impact stand out from its competitors is that players who acquire a Crypto Pass from an in-app purchase can earn Crystals from completing daily missions. Players can also purchase a Sponsor Contract with Crystals to boost daily Crystal earnings.
While Crystals can be used in the game, they can also be converted into S2 — a native game token for Crypto Golf Impact via Neopin. S2 tokens can be swapped to Neopin Token (NPT), a governance token for Neopin.
The development team has announced the rollout of championship content to incentivize high-ranking players as well.
NFT integration
Crypto Golf Impact is preparing to roll out its nonfungible token (NFT) feature. Players can purchase NFTs with S2 tokens to boost game performance and Crystal earning.
