The ReserveBlock Foundation’s RBX network, the first open-source, decentralized and autonomous nonfungible token (NFT) centric blockchain for everyone, is releasing its network masternode information with a presale beginning on Feb. 22 at 5 pm UTC. Both the masternode and install documentation will be available on the network’s website and Discord on Feb. 11.
Upon downloading the core desktop RBX wallet and obtaining the minimum RBX standards on presale, users may elect to hold a masternode on the network. In addition to a multitude of NFT wallet features and tools, node holders will be able to earn block rewards similar to the Bitcoin network per the RBX network’s halving schedule. Network nodes passively earn block rewards while verifying transactions, agnostic to the operating system, by holding the minimum RBX requirements and liquid staking on the network with the core wallet. All nodes are free to stake or unstake anytime without any predefined holding periods, fees or penalties.
The presale is on Tuesday, Feb. 22 and users will simply be able to generate an address and connect their existing Coinbase or Metamask wallets to purchase their masternodes. Purchases can be made with Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH) or Litecoin (LTC) on the presale day with the final sales day ending on Friday, Feb. 25 at 10 pm UTC. Upon the presale’s completion, founding masternode holders will be labeled by two categories as either Carbon Founders or Diamond Founders. Carbon Founders, limited to 800 total, are masternode holders of one to four nodes, while Diamond Founders, limited to 450 total, are holders of five or more network nodes and receive a capped supervote.
In addition to block rewards, governance and benefits, each founder will receive a unique limited-edition NFT badge identifier hard-coded to the network and tradeable on the network’s mainnet launch by the end of first-quarter 2022. Details of both founding node levels can be found in the current lite paper and the document release on Feb. 11.
Additionally, the foundation will be releasing a rewards initiative in the coming weeks through airdrops for developers and nodes participating in the upcoming testnet upon closing of the presale.
