Tokyo, Japan — StrongNode Edge, an Edge computing startup that delivers infrastructure-as-a-service for faster and more efficient networking connectivity, has announced its first product release and centralized exchange (CEX) token listing on the MEXC Global exchange. According to the official StrongNode Medium page, the team has been preparing several CEX listings and have six approved with more to follow.

In the company’s Developer Diaries Volume 7, the team revealed its goal is listing the token on notable CEXes in different geographical locations. This approach will help them spread the word about its token, SNE, to more people globally.

Daniel Saito, co-founder and CEO of StrongNode, said, “We are super excited first, that our token will be listed on the MEXC platform on Monday, March 14, 2022, and second, that we are releasing one of our multiple proposed Web3 products in the second quarter of 2022.”

“The MEXC listing is a giant step in the right direction for our startup. Listing SNE on the MEXC platform will enable our users to stake their tokens on the MX decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol. Also, having the SNE token on the MX DeFi protocol will aid the SNE token on the Polygon network,” said Saito.

SNE token listing on MEXC

The listing will be on March 14, 2022, at 15:00 UTC, with the SNE and Tether (USDT) pair on the MEXC exchange. MEXC is a centralized crypto-exchange platform founded in 2018 and registered in Seychelles. The exchange will support SNE on the Polygon network, then SNE on the Ethereum network later this year. To celebrate StrongNode’s first token listing on its platform, MEXC will host a trading competition with up to $40,000-worth of SNE in rewards. These rewards will go to the most successful traders. Users will also be able to stake SNE on MX DeFi.

First product release

StrongNode has been developing a series of Web3 products but will be releasing its decentralized virtual private network (dVPN) in the second quarter of 2022. The product is designed for StringNode users who will earn SNE as exit nodes. Also, users can spend SNE to gain access to these VPN services. StrongNode requires all users to register using a StrongNode ID that includes a Know Your Customer check to ensure no bad actors.

The dVPN will pave the way for many planned Web3 applications to compose the StrongNode ecosystem. It will also help to power the SNE economy.

About StrongNode

StrongNode is an infrastructure-as-a-service blockchain technology-powered startup. The company is an innovation ecosystem that helps power companies worldwide via its next generation of Edge networking, achieved by leveraging the power of blockchain technology. The startup aims to deliver on-demand, secure and scalable node technology with the capacity to fundamentally revolutionize the way and manner that computing resources are harnessed and monetized. StrongNode is championing a new model in digital connectivity.

The StrongNode team is currently developing many decentralized Web3 products, and the Edge network is powering all of them. The core StrongNode product still under construction will let anyone with a smart device connect to the Edge protocol and provide unused computing resources such as CPU, GPU and RAM to the network. Node seeders will also be rewarded with SNE. The industrial and commercial sectors will pay for computing resources in SNE and fiat.
