Aaron Brogan and Jon Van Loo

Aaron Brogan is the founder and managing attorney of Brogan Law, a boutique law firm that focuses on cryptocurrency and novel financial products. Brogan Law advises clients on regulatory strategy, serving as a key partner to early-stage startups operating in the US. Before founding Brogan Law, Aaron was an attorney with the same focus at several major international law firms. Aaron is a graduate of Harvard Law School and the University of Chicago. Jon Van Loo is a founding partner of Belcher, Smolen & Van Loo LLP, where he advised cryptocurrency, SaaS and other clients on a variety of tax issues. He has particular expertise in the tax aspects of ICOs, cryptocurrency compensation, cross-border structures for crypto companies and the loss of crypto assets. He also regularly advises SaaS, crypto and other technology companies on the tax aspects of M&A transactions.
