Mahesh Ramakrishnan is the founder of Escape Velocity, a Boston-based VC firm, and a 2018 graduate of Harvard University. He previously worked as a private equity associate for Apollo Global Management and as an investment banking analyst for Goldman Sachs. Jorge Tamayo is a professor of strategy and business administration at Harvard Business School, and the recipient of the 2023 Harvard Business Review Prize. His recent research focuses on industrial organization and industrial development, as well as the impact of technology on business strategy. He received his PhD in economics from the University of Southern California.
