Long Events MCP brings pay-per-call event data to AI agents
Belong’s new platform connects AI agents with conference schedules and local gatherings through wallet-paid API calls and 16 MCP tools.

Event listings sit scattered across ticketing sites and independent organizer pages that frequently clash with community calendars, where overlapping entries and inconsistent time or location formats prompt AI assistants to burn processing time and model tokens trying to reconcile shifting schedules. Long Events, a live data platform from the Long Community Alliance powered by Belong, resolves duplicates and consolidates those records into a standardized catalog for software.
Developers can access the platform’s catalog through a REST API and 16 Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools. Whether a travel application needs local concerts near a hotel or a discovery tool is mapping city nightlife, software can search by city name or geographic coordinates across parties, festivals, concerts, conference weeks and side events. Queries return structured records for events, venues, organizers and artists, complete with performance schedules, location details, source URLs and registration links where available.

Major industry gatherings complicate automated scheduling because independent organizers host dozens of side events and satellite sessions across separate websites outside the main program. Long Events groups those related listings into conference or festival weeks. Ahead of upcoming gatherings like Devcon and Bitcoin Amsterdam — as well as Breakpoint — a conference assistant can retrieve an entire week’s program in one data request so attendees can coordinate overlapping sessions through a single interface.
The Devcon week calendar also features Crypto After Hours: Penthouse, a private Web3 gathering hosted by Alpha Tree in Mumbai on November 7, with Belong.net as technology partner.

Micropayments and global catalog scale
When an application queries the API, it receives a machine-readable price that allows an AI agent to purchase data within a user-authorized budget without opening an account or managing API keys and recurring subscriptions. Individual $0.005 requests settle in USDC on Base. Developers who prefer batched access can purchase 10-call bundles on BNB Chain with LONG, Tether (USDT), USDC or USD1, where a 20% promotional discount lowers LONG payments from $0.05 to $0.04 equivalent through March 31, 2027.
Public documentation, transparent pricing, OpenAPI schemas and free MCP tool discovery accompany listings in the official MCP registry and Coinbase’s x402 Bazaar. The Long Events catalog spans 400 cities across 118 countries, with 500,000 past and upcoming events and 300 event weeks. The index also tracks 180,000 venues and 80,000 artists.

Since catalog depth still varies by city, the team plans to deepen geographic coverage, improve data freshness and quality, expand useful conference-week programs and simplify integration for developers and agent builders.
Long Events views real-world schedule discovery as a standard capability for everyday software. By discovering data services through open interfaces, travel products and everyday AI assistants can evaluate prices and use small crypto payments to buy current data on what is happening — along with when and where it takes place — so digital tools can connect people with opportunities to meet in person to learn and participate.
