Tomorrow’s Golf League (TGL), the virtual indoor golf competition backed by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy’s venture TMRW Sports, announced FanDuel as its official sports betting partner earlier this week.
FanDuel will sponsor intermission segments, integrate the TGL primetime broadcast with live odds
TGL launched Tuesday night at the SoFi Center in Palm Gardens, Florida. In addition to FanDuel offering several betting options for matches, the sportsbook will sponsor intermission segments and integrate the primetime broadcast with live odds.
“As its inaugural season gets underway, we look forward to partnering with TGL to create a robust offering of bet types for fans to wager on throughout the season,” said Karol Corcoran, Senior Vice President and General Manager of FanDuel Sportsbook.
“As an official sports betting partner of TGL in the U.S., we’ll create an engaging experience that brings fans closer to this exciting new golf experience.”
There will also be customized social and digital media integrations between FanDuel and TGL. The partnership includes future integrations on the golf league’s app as well.
Golf league features six teams of top PGA Tour players
Moreover, FanDuel Group is a subsidiary of Flutter Entertainment, the world’s largest sports betting and gaming operator. The sportsbook has a presence across all 50 states.
“FanDuel is one of the most recognizable names in not only sports gambling but in all of sports,” TMRW Sports Chief Revenue Officer Jason Langwell said.
“Adding them to our growing roster of partners underscores our commitment to excellence as we continue to build out our commercial program for TGL presented by SoFi.”
TGL presented by SoFi features six teams of top PGA TOUR players competing in a season-long competition that brings golf to primetime on Mondays and Tuesdays.
In fact, the league’s inaugural season began Tuesday, Jan. 7 in primetime on ESPN and ESPN+ in the U.S. and televised via other various media partners around the globe.
TGL’s six teams include the Atlanta Drive GC, Boston Common Golf, Jupiter Links Golf Club, Los Angeles Golf Club, New York Golf Club, and The Bay Golf Club.
