Now Hero Subs becomes the first fast food shop that started accepting digital currency in Melbourne, Australia.

Hurry up to visit it because they offer a 50% discount for the customers paying via Bitcoin until 15th June.

Now Hero Subs accept Bitcoin payment in all branches, however, they also plan to launch a limited edition ‘Bitcoin Sub’ service in their four restaurants in Melbourne. It's going to be “the sandwich created by Bitcoiners for Bitcoiners” and available only to buyers paying with digital currency.

At the moment they allow customers to vote for fillings of new Bitcoin Sub’s sandwich on Hero Subs website. Customers may choose the best sandwich with roast chicken, caribbean inspired jerk chicken, guacamole, smashed avocado finished with cheese, corn chips and vegetables. The winner will be introduced on the 18th June.

The system of accepting digital currency became possible as Hero Subs partnered a Melbourne-based Bitcoin payment provider CoinJar and DC POS that offers customers and merchants to pay with and accept bitcoin over the counter. Hero Subs also collaborate with BitPay, Blockchain and Coinbase.

The number of start-ups and businesses that accept and promote digital currency in Australia is growing fast – starting with Australian Forsyth Real Estate, V Spot Café, Future Capital Bitcoin Fund and many others. You may even say that Aussieland is becoming one of the leading countries in the digital currency movement.
