Biography:

Coin Bureau is a brand and organization in the cryptocurrency and blockchain space that focuses on education and news through multiple streams of content, such as YouTube videos and website articles. Coin Bureau has a main website but also has accounts on Twitter and YouTube, with audiences of over 700,000 and 2 million, respectively. The Coin Bureau website touts numerous articles labeled in categories, such as education, analysis and reviews, bylined by multiple writers.

The brand appears primarily run by a man named “Guy,” who seemingly manages the Coin Bureau Twitter account and hosts the brand’s YouTube videos. Videos and tweets cover a broad range of crypto and blockchain industry topics, depending on what is relevant in the industry at a given point in time. Guy is also listed as the author of Coin Bureau’s newsletter, available on its website.

Coin Bureau was actually the product of a pair of Guy’s friends. Guy himself touts a background of multiple endeavors, including teaching and writing. While at a London pub in 2013, Guy stumbled upon Bitcoin, learning about the asset as a payment method. Until then, finance was interesting for Guy, although he was wary of it, viewing the system as broken. Following his pub encounter with Bitcoin, Guy took an interest in the asset, which eventually led to him joining Coin Bureau. Content on Twitter and YouTube generally spans crypto industry news and other financial or web-related topics.

Coin Bureau’s 2022:

Coin Bureau had a busy year creating content in the crypto space, with Guy serving as the face of the brand. Early in the year, Coin Bureau’s Twitter account posted that its YouTube account was hacked, despite taking certain security precautions.

The cryptocurrency industry had a turbulent 2022, providing significant fuel for content creation. Coin Bureau’s Twitter account posted about the Ethereum Merge, Bitcoin, regulation in the crypto sector, Three Arrows Capital (one of the industry entities that went bankrupt in 2022), inflation, politics, hacks and more. On YouTube, the channel brought the world a barrage of videos. With Guy as the host, the videos spanned from topics related to crypto regulation to Celsius and inflation.

Coin Bureau’s 2023:

Based on the significant output of content put out by the organization in 2022, the cryptocurrency and blockchain space might expect similar activity in 2023 from Guy and his brand. Regardless of whether the crypto space treads through a bull or bear market, 2021 and 2022 showed no shortage of talking points and news for coverage.

So far in 2023, Coin Bureau’s Twitter account and YouTube channel have continued their paths of content creation, posting about FTX, Tesla, Bitcoin and more subject matters. The newsletter has also waged forward in production, with Guy on the byline.
