Bangkok, Thailand — March 2023 — SCB 10X, the digital technology venture building and investment arm of SCBX group, announced “Bangkok Blockathon 2023,” taking place April 29 through May 5 in Bangkok, Thailand, and its partners welcome aspiring and experienced builders to create innovative, robust and scalable decentralized applications that can make a real-world impact to “The Next Billion Users” in the following categories: Financial Innovation, Gaming & Metaverse Building Blocks, Social Network & Decentralized Society and Real World Use Cases.
The hackathon is open to developers, builders and entrepreneurs globally who want to create, or are already creating, blockchain projects. Attendees are invited to attend workshops, networking events and panels by a lineup of speakers, mentors and judges from global partners, including Nansen, Fireblocks, The Sandbox, dYdX, Alchemy, Alpha Venture DAO, Superfluid, Impossible Finance, Token Unlocks, Alles Labs, Tetration Labs, Cointelegraph and Cryptoslate.
Hosted in District X, SCB 10X’s new leading international blockchain center in Asia, Bangkok Blockathon 2023 will offer $18,000 in prizes and the opportunity for incubation and mentorship by SCB 10X and partners for blockchain-driven products. Finalists who are residing outside of Thailand will be provided with flight reimbursement of up to $1,000 per person (actual expense) and free accommodation during the blockathon period.
