Washington, D.C. is set to host the most significant event of the year for the Web3 community as the third annual International Women of Blockchain (IWB2023) conference takes place from March 22 to 24, during Women’s History Month. The conference brings together individuals from across different industries and countries to celebrate diversity, equity and inclusion in Web3, blockchain and the Metaverse.

The theme of the three-day conference is “Building a Diverse Future,” focusing on empowering women in the Web3 ecosystem and onboarding more students into the blockchain and Web3 industry. With NFT showcases, Metaverse experiences, a job fair, sessions on cryptocurrency, and opportunities to connect with policymakers, IWB2023 provides a platform for women to lend their voices to all aspects of Web3, from NFTs to policy.

“At IWB2023, women are at the center of attention. We are creating a space for women in Web3 to be heard and have their contributions recognized,” said Olayinka Odeniran, chief creative director of IWB. “With diversity, we can build the right space for everyone and encourage inclusion in how people view blockchain, Web3 and the Metaverse.”

Over 1,000 Web3 community members from over 20 countries will attend the conference, offering a unique opportunity to network and build connections. The last night of the conference will be a gala honoring innovators and pioneers in the blockchain and Web3 industry.

IWB2023 tickets are available for purchase now on the site, with exclusive rates for accommodation at the MGM National Harbor for attendees. VIP tickets cover three-night hotel expenses at MGM during the conference.
