Latest Mempool News

Mempool — a portmanteau of “memory” and “pool” — functions as a kind of waiting room for unconfirmed transactions before being included in a block. In a blockchain network like Bitcoin, nodes validate queued transactions, transitioning them from “queued” to “pending” if no issues are found.

Miners then select pending transactions from their node’s mempool and include them in new blocks. Subsequently, nodes remove those transactions from their mempools. Each node maintains its own version of the mempool.
