The industry of cryptocurrency exchanges is, and has been for some time, a very competitive one. What has inspired you to enter a scene with so many established players already in the game?
About 2 years ago we first tasted bitcoin. It did not catch our fancy at first, we were puzzled by all the excitement and extreme plummeting of exchange rates in late 2013 – early 2014. But considering the bitcoin further, we tried it out and now we are ardent adherents of this culture and technology. With rich experience in creation, development and promotion of sites and powerful programming staff members, our team decided to stream into this trend and take our place among other bitcoin startups, and at that time crypto currency Exchange appeared for us to be the particularly attractive and actual direction. The development lasted just over a year, during which the core was first designed, and then several times completely re-designed. During this period the market has been entered by many new exchanges which clearly creates competition. It does not frighten us as we know - the higher the competition, the finally better for the consumer.
What can you tell us about your team's background and experiences prior to Livecoin?
We would not like to link our projects directly altogether, but I must say there have been successful projects in the e-commerce and financial services direction. We are a very tight-knit team, have been working together for years. Our team includes programmers, seo- and pr-managers, security staff and financial experts.
What was the key driver of your success so far?
From the very beginning, we have focused on the quality and friendliness of our product. In March of 2015 we invited independent experts (traders) for testing the Exchange. They have supplied us with a number of valuable suggestions in order how to make it more user-friendly, and the interface to be more intuitive to use. Since then our position has not changed, we continue to improve the Exchange in accordance with the wishes of its users. The prompt and competent technical support and attentiveness to each client are also a priority in our work.
Government regulation is an important issue for crypto companies dealing with trading directly. Did you have to overcome any major problems with that?
Legislative regulation is not to date so much of difficulty to us as the fear and unwillingness of the certain financial institutions to consider the issue and start operating with Crypto Currency Exchange, even on the questions that have no direct prohibition or regulation. It is easier for them to refuse cooperation rather than at least trying to see into the issue.
What are your plans for the future, that will enable you to stay on top of the competition?
We have chosen the certain direction of evolution – an extension of the services provided and their irreducible quality. We understand that if the trader has got used to working at a certain exchange, it requires some time for the one to wish to entrust one’s money to another exchange. We are ready to gain confidence of users. We possess all the necessary capabilities and financial capacities.
