Switzerland, November 3, 2021 — In Celebration of Casper’s third birthday, Casper Association, the nonprofit entity that oversees the ongoing evolution and decentralization of the Casper Network, announced today that it had received over 50,000 supporters interested in CasperPunks, a unique and rare collectible nonfungible token, or NFT, to be minted on the Casper blockchain.
Casper’s community initiative around NFTs is using its future-proof blockchain technology to mint the first unique and collectible CasperPunks NFTs. The CasperPunks NFTs are the first in a series of NFTs that will draw community support to raise awareness of Casper’s NFT technology while also, in the future, providing utility and benefits to the special holders. This could prelude with Casper becoming the home for innovative NFTs, NFT marketplace and NFT Gaming development.
In one of the most viral social campaigns in the last few weeks, Casper’s announcement that was entering the NFT space drew record support from the community and social media, where only 100 NFTs are to be minted for supporters.
