Changelly’s latest mobile app update brings a powerful new tool to its millions of users, helping them make more informed decisions while exchanging, buying, or selling crypto. The ‘crypto alerts’ feature tracks market movements automatically, removing the need for constant monitoring and decreasing FOMO during market volatility and turbulence.
The move comes in response to a key insight from a recent user survey: over 63% of Changelly users say price movements are among the top factors influencing their decisions. For many, staying glued to charts all day isn’t realistic. The new crypto alerts address this gap by delivering market signals in real time, without requiring users to be online.
How Crypto Alerts work
Built as a lightweight, user-friendly notification tool, Changelly crypto alerts allow registered users to set personalized alerts for market movements. It functions similarly to a limit order on centralized exchanges, but instead of executing a trade, it simply notifies the user when a price condition is met—giving them full control over when and how to act.
There are two types of alerts:
Target price alert: notifies users when a selected cryptocurrency hits a specific price point.
Movement price alert: alerts users when a coin’s price shifts by a chosen percentage, up or down.
The feature is accessible via the Changelly app’s Settings screen or directly on any coin’s Explore page. To get access to crypto alerts, users need to register or log in to the app. By helping users stay informed without being constantly glued to their screens, the alerts reduce stress and enhance crypto trading strategies and experience—especially during periods of high market volatility.
