August 6, 2025 – TraDeFi project StableStock announced that its first ecosystem product, StableBroker, will officially open for public beta testing. From August 6 to August 11 at 02:00 (UTC), users can complete whitelist registration.

Whitelisted users will enjoy priority access to the beta from August 11 to August 18, with zero trading fees, and early access to the second-phase product, StableVault.

Building the next-gen on-chain stock infrastructure to connect trillions in liquidity with the DeFi ecosystem

StableStock is building a TraDeFi ecosystem centered on “on-chain stock assets”, aiming to bring high-quality stocks from Traditional Finance (TradFi) into Decentralized Finance (DeFi) in a compliant way. This enables users worldwide—especially in emerging markets—to access global quality assets and derivatives via stablecoins, opening the liquidity loop and promoting stock asset tokenization and openness.

The StableStock team has developed a three-layer product strategy to establish a new connection between real-world stock assets and on-chain finance for emerging market users:

  • Accessibility: Collaboration with licensed brokers like HabitTrade to build StableBroker, a stablecoin-based compliant stock brokerage service. This solves the long-standing issue of USD asset access in emerging markets. Additionally, users’ crypto assets will be securely and transparently custodied with SafeHeron and Coinbase Institution.

  • Liquidity: Every stock on StableBroker can be tokenized 1:1 into sStock tokens. When deposited into StableVault, users receive yield-bearing assets stStock, which can enter DEXs, lending, and cross-chain applications—unlocking the liquidity potential of on-chain stocks.

  • Ecosystem: As an open liquidity platform, StableVault allows third-party developers to build structured products, leverage contracts, indexes, and other innovative financial tools based on sStock liquidity, reimagining the global stock market’s reach in Web3.

Reshaping the access to global assets for emerging market users

In markets like Vietnam and Indonesia, ordinary investors face five long-standing structural financial challenges:

  • Continuous depreciation of local currency drives growing demand for USD-denominated safe-haven assets.

  • Strict foreign exchange and capital controls severely restrict capital outflows and cross-border investment channels.

  • Local equity and bond markets are limited in capacity, lack quality assets, and are too volatile for long-term allocation.

  • Access to global high-quality assets like U.S. stocks is scarce and has a high barrier to entry—only a few can operate compliantly.

  • Even within crypto-native communities, there remains a lack of accessible tools for stable, real-world asset allocation.

The on-chain financial system remains overly reliant on volatile crypto assets. While DeFi TVL has surpassed $200B, most assets (excluding stablecoins) are still high-volatility tokens, with blue-chip real-world assets largely absent. Most crypto assets (except BTC) have underperformed benchmarks like the S&P 500 over time. Though stablecoins now exceed Visa in annual volume and dominate as “on-chain dollars,” they’re still limited in accessing real-world high-quality investments.

StableStock aims to close this dual gap—bringing accessible, yield-generating, and composable stock infrastructure on-chain. It enables emerging market users to invest in global assets and channels real-world liquidity into Web3.

On July 31, 2025, SEC Chair Paul Atkins launched “Project Crypto,” following Hester Peirce’s July 9 statement supporting compliant tokenized securities. Riding this regulatory shift, StableStock is building a transparent, compliant, and sustainable bridge between TradFi and Web3.

Modular product suite builds core infrastructure for tokenized stock markets

StableStock’s three-layer strategy builds end-to-end infrastructure for on-chain stock assets—spanning asset access, liquidity, and ecosystem development. Its modular product stack enables real-world stock circulation, trading, and composability on-chain:

  • StableBroker – A compliant, stablecoin-based brokerage. In partnership with licensed broker HabitTrade, users can buy U.S. stocks with USDT/USDC in one click. Launching mid-August 2025, with early access via whitelist.

  • StableVault – A cross-protocol liquidity hub. Enables stock asset tokenization and staking to mint yield-bearing assets (stStock), usable across DEXs, lending, and bridges. Open to developers for building structured products, indexes, and leveraged ETFs.

  • StableSwap – Aggregates fragmented on-chain stock liquidity. Allows seamless 1:1 swaps between equivalent stock tokens (e.g., sTSLA, stTSLA, xTSLA), ensuring near-zero slippage. StableStock also opens this infrastructure to DEXs, lending, and derivatives protocols to help build a trillion-dollar on-chain stock market.

A young but experienced team, deeply rooted in the Asian market

StableStock is led by a founding team with deep experience in traditional finance, crypto investment, and market building:

  • CEO Zixi: Graduate of Nanyang Technological University, former Head of Crypto Investment at Matrix Partners China, and co-founder of angel fund 10K Ventures. Early-stage lead investor in Sahara, Solv Protocol, Chainbase, and more.

  • COO Zac: Former Head of Overseas Business at Rong360, covering Southeast Asia, South Asia, and Africa. Early career as a product manager at Baidu; later founded crypto asset management platform WealthBee.

  • CMO Evie: Graduate of the National University of Singapore, founder of JE Labs (a leading Web3 marketing agency in Asia). Served over 70 top-tier Web3 projects (including Aptos, Sonic, HashKey), and formerly worked at OKX Wallet and Deloitte Consulting.

Looking ahead: Empowering global users to own freely flowing on-chain Real-World Assets

StableStock is ushering in a new chapter for the on-chain stock ecosystem. “Years of working in emerging markets has shown us the conservatism and inaccessibility of traditional finance. On the other hand, as stablecoin adoption increases and regulations become friendlier, stablecoins are starting to reshape the downstream of traditional banks. As a next-gen fintech company, we believe that in the next decade, stock-based real-world assets will flow freely on-chain just like stablecoins—composable and accessible. We are the infrastructure builders of this transformation,” said StableStock co-founder Zixi.

With the launch of StableBroker, StableVault, and other core products, StableStock will continue to promote the fusion of real-world assets and decentralized finance, building a “TraDeFi” ecosystem that brings freer, more stable, and more imaginative financial options to emerging market users.
