Cryptocurrency exchange BingX channeled its efforts in 2025 to community building and innovation, with AI taking center stage.
Crypto exchanges earn trust by pairing strong user communities with education that lowers the learning curve — and by continuously upgrading the product as new tools, assets and market structures emerge.
In 2025, that pressure intensified as AI-based workflows, tighter security expectations and faster-moving derivatives and onchain ecosystems reshaped how people trade and learn. The result is a clear mandate for platforms: make complexity easier to navigate, keep protection visible and keep shipping.
Recognizing this need, cryptocurrency exchange BingX spent 2025 developing and launching innovative products and features while expanding education and community initiatives. Alongside product expansion, BingX also emphasized protection and infrastructure, launching a $150 million Shield Fund and publishing 100% proof of reserves, while adding certifications such as ISO 27001 and PCI DSS v4.0.1 for its fiat business.
AI at the heart of innovation
AI has become a focal point in BingX’s product roadmap. Earlier this year, the exchange announced a multi-year strategy where it committed $300 million to AI-based crypto product development.
BingX AI Bingo is an early result of this strategy. Launched in May, this AI assistant answers trading questions from market headlines and technical setups to deeper project research and position checks. The assistant caters to all user groups by adapting to different experience levels, presented in a clear interface.
BingX AI Master is another major product that landed in the market in September. It serves as a strategist that guides users throughout their entire trading journey, helping them develop, test and deploy trading strategies. The tool also constantly reviews those strategies to provide actionable insights. BingX also introduced 15 AI personas designed for different trading styles and experience levels.
Debuted in November, BingX AI Arena adds an engaging layer to the platform’s AI suite. The arena hosts multiple AI models competing in crypto trading in the same conditions. Users witnessing the competition can follow top-performing strategies based on transparent, in-arena results. The product essentially offers AI-assisted copy trading, but in a gamified way.
Beyond AI, BingX also updated the mechanics of social trading by launching Copy Trading 2.0, an advanced version of the classic trading strategy. The feature allows users to copy the leverage and margin of the followed trader, under dedicated sub-accounts for better organization. Users can also merge multiple open orders into one to simplify tracking and profit and loss calculation.
In futures trading, BingX expanded tooling and risk controls with features such as Separate Isolated Margin Mode, TradingView integration, and new market offerings, including RWA Index Perpetuals and select pre-market futures products. In early 2025, the platform became one of the top five global cryptocurrency derivatives trading platforms, according to CoinMarketCap rankings.
On spot markets, BingX widened access with more than 1,100 trading pairs across 170 public-chain ecosystems, and introduced features like ChainSpot to blend centralized execution with DeFi-style transparency. Additionally, spot trading at BingX has evolved into a one-stop hub with the launch of the Listing FastTrack and Shards Program.
Community initiatives pick up steam
BingX also made significant improvements to its educational platform, resulting in a new iteration, BingX Academy 2.0. The updated platform comes with a more intuitive interface, more resources and interactive features that keep users engaged. BingX Academy covers a wide variety of topics on both the crypto industry and the exchange, providing educational content to both newcomers and experienced users. The exchange also rolled out ‘Crypto Friday,’ an educational series aimed at making market concepts more accessible to a broader audience.
Usage followed the releases. BingX says its global user base grew 100% year over year to 40 million in 2025. Copy trading volume reached $580 billion, with total copy orders reported at over $1.3 billion in Q3. Across its AI products, the platform reported 3 million early users, including 1 million early users of AI Master.
Taken together, BingX’s 2025 releases suggest a shift toward an integrated stack where security posture, AI tooling, education and market access evolve in parallel, aiming to make the path from learning to execution feel more coherent.
