Africa is set to receive its long-awaited first Bitcoin ATM this month.

The machine, to be located in Sandton, Johannesburg by the end of May, was ordered from Lamassu in February and will be shipped to the subcontinent in the next few days.

Organizers broadcast on Twitter today, “First African Bitcoin ATM coming to Sandton Jhb end of May 2014!”
