Knowledge-sharing network Liberty.me’s embracing of cryptocurrency continues today with the third of the service’s celebrity Bitcoin podcasts.

Bitcoin – The People’s Money is a monthly program designed to increase Bitcoin’s appeal to Liberty.me’s user base featuring interviews with some of the biggest names in cryptocurrency. Guests have already included Roger Ver and Erik Vorhees, and anti-state film producer and writer Julia Tourianski will join regular host Tomas Forgac for the third episode.

“We've tried to stay super flexible in guests on our shows. We don't want to get stuck with just academics or just technicians,” Liberty.me CEO Jeffery Tucker explained to Cointelegraph about the ethos of the series. “It takes all kinds of people to make the world work and we want this broad range of talents reflected in the kinds of guests we have.”

Bitcoin – The People’s Money is one of a number of podcast series hosted by Liberty.me as part of its varied media approach to allowing innovative thought to reach a wider audience. Tourianski’s appearance will focus on the close relationship between anti-state activism and Bitcoin, and her first-hand experience of the now-infamous online marketplace Silk Road, as well as her favorite moments, speeches and trends from conferences she's covered recently and other aspects of her involvement in Bitcoin.

Tucker added:

Many in the wider world are bored with Bitcoin because of its price stability right now, but actually this is a gift to the developers who are busy making great platforms and services around blockchain technology.

The future is being built right now. I'm so excited for how payment systems, money, and contracts are going to change fundamentally over the coming 5 years.

And the winner is…

Cointelegraph recently held a competition in conjunction with Liberty.me to nominate the greatest moments in cryptocurrency history from all areas of the industry. Entrants were asked to predict the winner in each category, and those who guessed correctly would share in a prize fund worth 3 BTC.

The two winners of the competition are now ready to be announced, and are #840 – yalpope and #805 - pedroalberoguz.

The winners will be contacted in due course regarding the next steps. Cointelegraph and Liberty.me would like to offer their congratulations to the winners and say thank you to all those who entered the competition.

The third episode of Bitcoin – The People’s Money can be viewed here at 21:00 EDT (01:00 GMT). More information on signing up to listen to the rest of the Bitcoin – The People’s Money series and other podcasts hosted by Liberty.me can be found by visiting their official website.
